Each year the Progressive Council puts on numerous events focused on activism, education and community-building. Our monthly calendar with the council's meetings and events is below, followed by descriptions of our annual events.

Annual Events
Radical Rush (Fall & Spring)
Radical Rush is the recruitment period for Progressive Council. Each
semester, the member organizations of the council come together in front of the UCF
Student Union for a week of tabling to get their message out and to bring like-minded
individuals closer together. The council also hosts numerous events to promote the
progressive community, including speakers, bike rides, demonstrations, movies,
and forums.
Progressive Thanksgiving (Fall)
Progressive Thanksgiving is an annual feast which takes place around
the American holiday of Thanksgiving. Members of the council come together
as a community to enjoy vegetarian foods and converse about local events and
politics.
We the People! (Spring)
We the People! is Progressive Council's yearly celebration of freedom and
democracy. Each Spring, progressives come together to express community and
interconnectivity within our society.
Florida College Activist Conference (Spring)
The Florida College Activist Conference is an annual conference where students
and community activists from across the state are invited to teach and learn
about effective progressive social change through workshops, speakers and social
events.
